Privacy Policy

Effective October 7, 2026. Qduk (pronounced Q-duck) lets friends save quotes in private shared sheets. Privacy and support contact: support@qduk.app. Public policy: https://qduk.app/privacy.

We collect your email address, display name, account ID, sheet memberships, invitations, speaker labels, quotes, quote dates and optional context to authenticate you and provide private shared quote sheets. Supabase processes and stores this information on our behalf. Your password is sent over an encrypted connection to Supabase Auth; the app does not store your plaintext password.

Members of a sheet can read its quotes, speaker labels, member names and membership information. Invitations grant membership to anyone who receives a valid code. Only share codes with people you trust. Do not submit another person’s private information without permission. Private means restricted to authorized sheet members; it does not mean end-to-end encrypted.

Reports contain the reported content, its author, your account ID, reason and optional details. Authorized operators can access reports and relevant content to investigate abuse. Basic server-side filters reject certain prohibited phrases. We do not send private content to a separate AI moderation service. Blocking hides the other user’s content and profile in the app and prevents joining their sheets; it cannot erase content someone already saw or copied.

If you opt into a home-screen widget, selected quote text, speaker labels and the sheet name are cached locally in an App Group shared with the widget extension. They may be visible to anyone who can see your device. No email, account ID, authentication token or quote context is put in the widget cache. You can clear each slot in Widgets. Logout and deletion clear local widget selections. Other devices update after they reconnect; iOS controls widget refresh timing.

Authentication sessions and preferences are stored locally to keep you signed in. Supabase records authentication events, network IP addresses and device/browser information in security logs to operate and secure the service. We do not use advertising, tracking, analytics SDKs or sell your data. We do not request access to your contacts, location, camera, photos or microphone.

We retain account and sheet data until it is deleted. Delete your account in Account → Delete account. This deletes the login, profile, memberships, blocks, your submitted quotes and your owned sheets (including other members’ quotes in those sheets). Speaker labels you created that are still used in other members’ sheets become “Deleted speaker.” Reports by or about your account are removed. A report about a sheet is removed when the sheet is deleted. Resolved reports are removed within 30 days under our moderation retention procedure.

Backups and security logs follow the configured Supabase retention schedule and are used only for recovery and security. If a backup is restored, completed account deletions must be reapplied before service resumes. Copies other members made independently are outside our control.
